Hello World…all 5 of you!
This is the paragraph in which I tell you who I am. Here goes:
I currently have the same number of nicknames as years being alive on this Earth. That means that I’ll probably sign every other post under whatever name I’m feeling for the day.
If life is a highway, I recently hopped on the interstate that will get me closer to my destination: I (just yesterday!) applied to school to get my Master’s Degree. I currently work for a non-profit organization that I mock continuously but love dearly; and one day hope to work for the Special Olympics.
My traveling companions are the 2 & 1/2 boys in my life that keep me busy and sane. They have 12 feet between the 3 of them, and with Sam being our most recent edition I’m no longer just a “crazy cat lady” & I finally understand how you can love “the same but different”. Gator and Berkley were used to being the boy and boy/girl in my life, and in December Sam moved into our hearts and home permanently. They literally fight like cats and dogs, because…well, that’s what they are. Why ruin a perfectly good stereotype?
My landscape keeps changing at a dramatic pace. Sometimes it seems like it’s raining and I’m sitting on the side of road with a flat, feeling I’m going nowhere. Most days it seems like I’m going a little faster than I should, and at the end of the day I know I’ve covered a lot of ground – I just hate it when I look back and don’t remember getting from point A to point B. On the other end of the spectrum are the days where it’s all of us girls crammed into a sporty little number where there’s laughter and loud music and singing and dancing while driving.
For all those types of days and for all the different places I’ve seen there are my friends and family; who are without a doubt the world’s best. (One of those just happens to be the co-author of this blog. Shameless plug.)
And, if you really want to know me, just memorize the following LIST: I love to read, like any sort of ring or necklace or shiny thing, lip gloss is how I self-medicate, music is a constant, laughter is a daily if not hourly occurrence, office supplies and journals are my guilty pleasure, I like clean but love Dirty Jobs, the way to my heart is a Camry, and with or without the Camry, I would marry Chuck in a heart beat (if he existed in real life).
I don’t think you did proper justice to your tranny cat or are you saving that story for a full post?
Yes, that is full post worthy and I don’t think the world is ready. Yet. They just met me.
