I’ve made a solemn vow to avoid politics here. Basically because I can get obnoxiously passionate about it, and we don’t want that, do we? Eventually, I do plan to post a couple of blogs by Donald Miller because he explains so much more eloquently than I ever could why many Christians felt compelled to support Barack Obama. But yes, the night Barack Obama was elected president was the happiest (and the tipsiest-but that’s another story) I’ve been in a long, long time. I like that they’re young. I like that they’re fresh and as real as you can get in the fishbowl they occupy. And I adore the exasperated look she is shooting his way in this picture.
