2009 was quite the year, wasn’t it? It had some super, amazingly high highs in it. But for every high, there seemed to be a low that painfully matched the euphoria of the highs that blipped along throughout the year.
While it wasn’t all bad, it was a year that roughed me up. It was the proverbial “worse”:
2008 = bad
2009 = WORSE
2010 = it HAS to be better
I usually approach the New Year with some fear and trepidation, and much like Lot’s wife take that one last look back. Luckily my year has never turned into a pillar of salt. This year however, I went straight into 2010 without mentally or emotionally glancing through the days of 2009. In fact, Jan. 1 of 2010 was an amazingly great day.
I am thankful for every day I’ve been given, however, in moving forward, I identify with this t-shirt from Busted Tees:
I decided to take the week as a whole and sum it up in a picture. If the adage “A picture is worth a thousand words” is true, then I’ve just spared you a lot of reading.
