Sooo, I’m a wee bit behind in my posting duties. But wait, wait! I have a good excuse(s). For whatever reason, I have actually spent the past 3 weekends back home in Roanoke which cuts down significantly on my internet time. Secondly, for Lent, I tried to significantly curtail timewasters, internet usage, social networking, etc… How did this grand spiritual experiment go? Well, there were good days and bad days. I will say that giving up chocolate or coffee for Lent is a helluva a lot easier than forgoing the internet. Lastly, Tina came and stayed with me for a couple of nights last week, and she & my husband monopolized the computers so they could better harass each other on facebook because it’s just not as much fun when you’re not in the same room. (Eric has a sad misunderstanding of what “poke” actually means on facebook & therefore takes great delight in poking my friends.) So anyway, today as I celebrate Easter by watching Twilight with my kids (hey, it’s good to spend time with the young’uns even if it’s while viewing a mediocre vampire flick) and making a fresh batch of jambalaya, I just wanted to take a moment to reassure our little blog that I won’t be so neglectful in the future.
Luc.
